Join Sub in the City for an afternoon of rope exploration with our guest facilitator Talulah Teal.

***Talulah Teal fell down the shibari rabbit hole as soon as she joined the kink scene, and this avid bunny has seen no reason to resurface since! She identifies as a rope bottom and self-tier, and has trained with a variety of shibari instructors in the UK and Europe. Talulah also has a background in dance and circus arts, and brings principles of movement and body awareness to her rope teaching and practice.***

Whether you’re brand new to rope or have been exploring for a while, this partnered workshop is designed to introduce you to some basic knots and rope techniques that are a simple yet effective way to uplevel your play sessions.

In this workshop, we will go beyond the technical, to understand how you can use rope intentionally to set the mood and the tone for your power dynamic, offering inspiration for sensation play, body handling, ritual and intentional presence when dropping into your Dom/sub energy.

We’ll be covering:

Master Carlos will also be offering taster impact play sessions and Sarah will be around offering guidance and support to anyone who may want it.

Dungeon furniture and toys are available for you to use and you are also welcome to bring your own toys.

**What is a Dungeon Party?**

This event is not a full sex party, therefore we do not allow sexual activities, however we do make this a safe space for kink play (think sensory/sensation play/role play dynamics etc).

We will kick off the weekend on Saturday morning with an opening cacao ceremony - our approach to kink is a conscious one, and this will allow us to set the scene and expectations for what will be an immersive weekend. 

  


We’ll then dive into understanding what *authentic* Dominance and submission looks like to you - not what you think it *should be*, not what you see in the movies or porn, but what *feels good* and *real* for you. This is also the time to explore what your biggest challenges are, where there might be any lingering resistance, and how to feel confident in communicating your desires to each other so you can build something that sets your souls on fire!

  


Next, we lay the foundations for the fun part - building your ultimate kinky scene! Whether you already have exciting playtime, or you’re stuck for inspiration, we’ll show you how to think outside the box when it comes to planning spicy scenes for play, and then guide you to create your own! 

  


Once you’re feeling warmed up, we’ll dive into some practical skills sessions, exploring Impact and Sensation Play. Whatever sensations you enjoy, this session is about understanding how to play with pain and pleasure in an erotic way that feels delicious for both of you. Watch a detailed live demo with Master Carlos and get hands-on guidance with a variety of tools that will invite you to get out of your head and into your body and really surrender. 

  


Saturday night you’ll be welcomed back to the Dungeon for our evening dungeon party where you can mix and mingle with other community members. Have a drink and a chat, and have the freedom to explore the dungeon further and practice what you’ve learnt that day. This evening event is a social and kink play only, it is not a sex party.

On Sunday, we dive into even more workshops to continue to build upon your dynamic, starting with creating rules, rituals and structure that are most suited to your style of Dominance and submission. Whether you see your dynamic as something you do in the bedroom only, or you’re looking to live it 24/7, this workshop will help you map out structure that feels realistic to your lifestyle and builds consistency. 

We’ll then give you some extra practical skills as our resident rope facilitator Talulah Teal will show you how you can use rope bondage to enhance your D/s scenes. You’ll be shown how to tie safely and in a way that explores rope as a sensation tool as much as a restraint tool. 

  


Adding this skill to your repertoire will give you a variety of different options to explore when it comes to building exciting BDSM Scenes. You’ll have some free time to explore these new skills and layer in everything else you’ve learnt too. 

  


As the weekend begins to draw to a close, we’ll start to wind down with an Aftercare workshop and session with our resident facilitator Alice Nan - we’ll explore what aftercare looks like and means to you, so you can continue to build your dynamic in a safe and nourishing way. 

  


We’ll end with a closing circle and Q&A to set you up for success when you go home.
