Kink and Sketch is our inaugural artistic workshop, where we explore the sensuality of the human body through an artistic lens. In this intimate life drawing session, we will share some basic illustration techniques that will allow you to capture the enticing poses of our life models, and maybe open the doors for your own personal collection of kinky art!

**The Hanged Man and The Art of Surrender**

&nbsp;

For our first circle, we meet The Hanged Man. Suspended upside down, caught between earth and sky, The Hanged Man occupies one of the strangest positions in the tarot. He is bound, but he does not appear to struggle. He is motionless, but his stillness is not necessarily stagnation. With the world inverted around him, he asks what might become visible when our usual ways of seeing, doing and controlling are interrupted.

&nbsp;

The Hanged Man invites us into the uncomfortable territory of surrender. What happens when we loosen our grip? When we cannot, or choose not to, push forwards? What is the difference between surrender and defeat, between passivity and the conscious decision to yield? Can giving up control itself become an act of agency?

&nbsp;

Through the lens of kink, these questions become particularly charged. Surrender can be chosen, negotiated, embodied and deeply intentional. The Hanged Man offers us an archetype through which to become curious about our own relationship with control and release, resistance and trust, tension and yielding.

&nbsp;

- **Arrival & Opening the Circle-** Grounding and arrival practice to establish the space and open the circle. 
- **Introducing the Kinky Tarot Circle Intentions-** A brief introduction to how we work with tarot: as an archetypal and symbolic language through which we can encounter different aspects of ourselves.
- **Meeting the Archetype-**Introduction to the tarot card at the centre of the session, exploring its imagery, symbolism, traditional meanings and wider archetypal themes.
- **Entering the Archetype-** A guided visualisation inviting participants to encounter the card experientially and imaginatively, followed by time for journaling, reflection and optional sharing.
- **Embodied Kink Exploration-** An embodied, kink-informed practice, exploring the central theme of the session through the body. 
- **Returning to the Card-** Participants return to the original tarot card after the embodied exploration. 
- **Integration & Closing Circle-** Journaling and optional group sharing to integrate the experience, followed by a closing practice to bring the circle to an intentional end.

**What is a Dungeon Party?**

This event is not a sex party, therefore we do not allow sexual activities, however we do make this a safe space for kink play (think sensory/sensation play/role play dynamics etc).

**Who can attend?**

Anyone who is interested in socialising with a friendly kink community is welcome to attend. It is a safe space for newbies and seasoned kinksters alike.

**What to expect?**

You will be welcomed into the space from 7.30pm with last entry **strictly** at 8pm.

You are invited to BYOB and our standard Dungeon BYOB bar will be in operation on the night. Remember, we **do not sell alcohol** at the venue. 

**EVENT RULES**

🩷 Doors open at 7.30pm and close at 8pm, no earlier, no later. Please do not arrive early or late as you will be turned away.

🩷 You will be given a dungeon tour/briefing on arrival.

🩷 Please be ready to state your name on the booking when arriving and do not let anyone who is not part of your booking pass into the venue.

🩷 We abide by PRICK at our events – Personal Responsibility in Consensual Kink

🩷 Please speak to Sarah, Master Carlos or any dungeon staff member identified with a pink LED armband should you need assistance with any equipment, housekeeping or to make a report.

🩷 Please drink responsibly

🩷 Drugs are not permitted

🩷 Please keep the venue location discreet to maintain the discretion of other guests and do not share the location of the event with non-ticket holders.

🩷 Do not loiter or smoke outside the venue in kinkwear, with drinks, or be loud/rowdy

🩷 If you need to go outside to smoke, please let one of our staff members know so they can keep an eye on the doorbell to let you back in.

🩷 Please be kind and mindful of language, touch, and interactions with other guests

🩷 Play is not a given or expected – respect other people’s boundaries and Master Carlos when Hose Domming

🩷 Consent is key

🩷 Please stick to the designated areas in the dungeon and do not cross into the cloakroom or  behind the bar. If you need something, please ask a member of staff.

🩷 Please be mindful when others are playing and do not be too loud, get in the way, or interrupt a scene.

🩷 The aftercare room is for aftercare or quiet time only. Please do not use this space to socialise.

🩷 Please do not loiter in the stairwell

🩷 Please wipe down equipment and toys after use with the antibac provided.

🩷 Please be quiet when leaving the premises at the end of the night.
