**SENSUAL UV WAX PLAY WORKSHOP**

*Join Sub in the City for an intimate, colourful evening of wax play exploration and turn your bodies into glow in the dark masterpieces. Guided by Integrative Kink Therapist Sarah Salazar (Sub in the City) and our Pro Dom & House sub, you'll discover the sensual art of wax play, learning the skills and techniques to play with temperature safely and skillfully.*

Enter into our decadent space, be inspired by a gorgeous wax play performance from our house Dom & sub, then you’ll be guided by Sarah through the basics of wax play, a group taster activity and then a freestyle portion of the class where you can either work in pairs, groups or choose to have a guided experience by one of the Sub in the City team. 

After the workshop comes to a close, we'll enjoy a social where you can mix and mingle. 

**Who can attend:**

This workshop is open to **duos and singles.** If you are attending with a friend who you are happy to partner with, please select a duo ticket.

Being partnered in this class is **not** a requirement, as we have the Sub in the City facilitators there to guide you through your experience should you not have a partner, but please note if you attend solo, your practical experience with other attendees is **not guaranteed and should never be expected as standard**. We welcome all experience levels, whether you’re just dipping your toes into the world of kink for the first time, or you’ve been exploring for a while, this weekend is designed to help you connect, communicate, explore and play in a fully immersive environment without the outside noise of every day life.

We will kick off the weekend on Saturday morning with an opening cacao ceremony - our approach to kink is a conscious one, and this will allow us to set the scene and expectations for what will be an immersive weekend. 

  


We’ll then dive into understanding what *authentic* Dominance and submission looks like to you - not what you think it *should be*, not what you see in the movies or porn, but what *feels good* and *real* for you. This is also the time to explore what your biggest challenges are, where there might be any lingering resistance, and how to feel confident in communicating your desires to each other so you can build something that sets your souls on fire!

  


Next, we lay the foundations for the fun part - building your ultimate kinky scene! Whether you already have exciting playtime, or you’re stuck for inspiration, we’ll show you how to think outside the box when it comes to planning spicy scenes for play, and then guide you to create your own! 

  


Once you’re feeling warmed up, we’ll dive into some practical skills sessions, exploring Impact and Sensation Play. Whatever sensations you enjoy, this session is about understanding how to play with pain and pleasure in an erotic way that feels delicious for both of you. Watch a detailed live demo with Master Carlos and get hands-on guidance with a variety of tools that will invite you to get out of your head and into your body and really surrender. 

  


Saturday night you’ll be welcomed back to the Dungeon for our evening dungeon party where you can mix and mingle with other community members. Have a drink and a chat, and have the freedom to explore the dungeon further and practice what you’ve learnt that day. This evening event is a social and kink play only, it is not a sex party. 

  


**Sunday**

  


On Sunday, we dive into even more workshops to continue to build upon your dynamic, starting with creating rules, rituals and structure that are most suited to your style of Dominance and submission. Whether you see your dynamic as something you do in the bedroom only, or you’re looking to live it 24/7, this workshop will help you map out structure that feels realistic to your lifestyle and builds consistency. 

We’ll then give you some extra practical skills as our resident rope facilitator Talulah Teal will show you how you can use rope bondage to enhance your D/s scenes. You’ll be shown how to tie safely and in a way that explores rope as a sensation tool as much as a restraint tool. 

  


Adding this skill to your repertoire will give you a variety of different options to explore when it comes to building exciting BDSM Scenes. You’ll have some free time to explore these new skills and layer in everything else you’ve learnt too. 

  


As the weekend begins to draw to a close, we’ll start to wind down with an Aftercare workshop and session with our resident facilitator Alice Nan - we’ll explore what aftercare looks like and means to you, so you can continue to build your dynamic in a safe and nourishing way. 

  


We’ll end with a closing circle and Q&A to set you up for success when you go home.
